Translating a document can be made much easier by taking your time and going through the entire process in a relaxed manner. It can be all to easy to try to rush through a piece of text and finish the work as quickly as possible. But in the long run, going at a steady pace and understanding the piece of text will make the translation more accurate and the process more enjoyable.
This can be done by sitting down and reading through the entire document that going to be translated. This means understanding it as if you were reading it for it’s intended purpose, before any translation is carried out. Once finished, and with an understanding of the entire piece of text begin to make notes and go through the translation process.
Doing this will help set the tone of the final translation, it makes the work easier overall and will make double checking easier when re-reading the document.
