Why Google was a game changer for translations

Google really changed the face of translating languages. This is purely because they made it a whole lot easier for people who are browsing the web to translate text from articles, news stories and blogs. The words may not have been perfectly translated back when the tool was initially launched, after all it’s a robot, however, it was enough to give you an insight into what the text was about, so when placing order from foreign websites it made life a lot easier.

Google has since developed this tool further and it has allows people to communicate with those of a completely different language, so you can simply use your mobile in another country and get fairly accurate translations, meaning eating in restaurants, ordering a taxi and asking where a particular place is, is made a whole lot easier. The translations are also far more accurate too, and we’ll see this develop further over the coming months and years.
